The new £21.5 million Windmill Community Campus has been developed to house Viewforth High School and Rosslyn Primary School as well as a range community facilities that will service the people of Kirkcaldy.

The new purpose built Viewforth High School accommodates 600 pupils and has state of the art teaching spaces with integrated technology, sports/fitness facility and library. Rosslyn School was designed in partnership with the school’s specialist teachers and includes a large, fully equipped sensory room along with quiet rooms where intensive interaction can be facilitated with minimal distraction.

A non-combustible insulated render system was required to meet the project Insurer’s fire requirements. As the Dryvit Outsulation system with its expanded polystyrene (EPS) core held the relevant certification to satisfy insurer requirements with a scope of specification that met the projects outlying technical, aesthetic and commercial requirements it was deemed as the most suitable choice of system.
